A great mix for establishing a native landscape. Native plants require little, if any, external inputs to flourish and are highly beneficial to local birds and other wildlife. This mix includes a blend of annuals and perennials that are native to the Midwest region and can be planted in the fall or spring.

Seeding rate:
Planting Rate/acre 8-16 lbs.

Planting Rate for 1/2 acre or less 6 oz./1000 sq. ft.

Mix Includes: Black-Eyed Susan, Butterfly Milkweed, Clasping Coneflower, Dwarf Evening Primrose, Grey-Headed Coneflower, Indian Blanket, Lance-Leaved Coreopsis, Lavender Hyssop, New England Aster, Ohio Spiderwort, Ox-Eye Sunflower, Pale Purple Coneflower, Plains Coreopsis, Prairie Aster, Prairie Coneflower, Prairie Ironweed, Purple Coneflower, Purple Prairie Clover, Sweet Black-Eyed Susan, Thickspike Gayfeather and White Upland Aster.

Planting Instructions:
Sow outdoors 1-2 weeks after average last frost. Broadcast mixture evenly over area. Lightly rake seed and gently tamp into soil. Seed should be no deeper than 1/8". 

Additional Tips:
Prefers average, well-drained soil.

Keep area moist to aid germination.

Plant in late spring, after last frost, early summer or fall. Fall seeding can be very successful, especially in dry soils. Fall plantings will germinate the following spring.
