(Echinacea purpurea) Perennial. Native. This wonderful wildflower produces beautiful 3’4” purple/pink flowers with large center cones that attract a variety of pollinators.

This is the easiest Echinacea to grow. Does well in average soil and is highly adaptable.

Heat and drought tolerant. Excellent addition for butterfly gardens. Perfect for fresh cut flowers.

Planting Instructions:
Sow outside 2-4 weeks before average last frost or as late as 2 months before first fall frost. Start inside 10-12 weeks before average last frost.

Additional Tips:
Will produce the most flowers in full sun, but can also do well in light shade.

Deep taproots make these plants quite drought-tolerant once established.

Deadhead the plants as the blooms fade to extend the bloom period.
