(Rosmarinus officinalis) Perennial. Rosemary is a tender perennial herb that is highly prized in the kitchen and for medicinal use.

Grows as a fragrant, upright evergreen shrub with a profusion of tiny pink or blue flowers in summer.  

Wonderful when used as a culinary seasoning to complement meats, vegetables, and breads.  Also excellent dried and used in sachets.

Planting Instructions:
Start indoors 10-12 weeks before average last frost. Sow outdoors 1-2 weeks after average last frost.

Additional Tips:
Rosemary has a naturally low germination rate, and can take up to 4 weeks to germinate. 

Press lightly into soil surface; do not cover with soil.

Rosemary is very drought tolerant.

Does well in containers.

Grows back vigorously after cutting.

Remove sprigs as needed. For best flavor, harvest just before flowering.
