Do you have a store/retail location we can visit?

• We would love to meet you! Currently, however, we are online only. We strive to process all orders within 24 hours, except for holidays and offer free shipping for orders over $40 to make sure your seeds arrive to you as quickly as possible.
  
  Additionally, we will have our seeds available at several Farmers Markets throughout the Spring and Fall season and are working with local nurseries to be able to provide our seeds at retail locations in the St. Louis area soon. You can find us at: Tower Grove Farmers Market, Schlafly Maplewood Farmers Market, Webster Groves Farmers Market.

Do you ship internationally?

• No, not at this time. We currently ship within the US only.

How much is shipping?

• Our flat fee of $4.95 is applied on all orders under $40.00. Your order will be shipped via USPS, FedEx or UPS, our choice. Always be sure to include a physical address so there are no delays in processing & shipping your order. Average time to receive your order is between 2-5 business days. An additional charge of $20 will be applied to orders shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico. Standard Shipping to AK, HI, PR, and VI can take up to 16 business days.

Do you charge sales tax?

• Missouri customers will see sales tax automatically added to all orders. The sales tax rate for Vegetable and Herb seeds, as well as all other food products, is 5.225%. All other items are taxed at 8.61%, except for gift certificates, which are non-taxable. If you are a Missouri customer purchasing both seeds and merchandise, you will see these tax rates listed separately on your order. All other geographic areas are not subject to sales tax.

What is your return policy?

• Your satisfaction is our number one priority.  We will either replace or refund your money within 30 days if you are not completely satisfied. Please read our full Return Policy here.

What is a Genetically Modified Organism (GMO)?

• Genetically modified varieties have had their DNA scientifically altered to make them more pest, disease, or chemical resistant. GMO seeds are controversial because no one is sure of their long term effects on the environment and humans. SeedGeeks does not carry genetically modified varieties.

Do you sell GMO seeds?

• No! We've signed the Safe Seed Pledge; we don't knowingly buy or sell genetically engineered seeds or plants. All of our seeds are non-treated, open-pollinated, NON-GMO seeds.

Do you sell seeds from Monsanto?

• We don't buy anything from Monsanto, or from any company owned by Monsanto, including Seminis.

Is any of your seed treated?

• We do not sell any chemically treated seed.

How long will my seeds last?

• Depending on the variety and how they’re stored, most seeds will last at least 2-4 years. Onions, chives, and parsnips are an exception and only last about 1-2 years even under the best conditions. Tomatoes and cucumbers, on the other hand, can last up to 10 years. To help your seeds remain viable longer, make sure to store them in an airtight container. Glass and metal are the best options for this because they're moisture proof. Place your airtight container in a cool, dry spot. You can also extend the life of your seeds by storing the airtight container in a refrigerator or freezer. If you do freeze them, however, be sure to let them come to room temperature overnight before opening the container. This will help prevent moisture from condensation that can damage the seed.
